Backstreets Bassline

    Interested in knowing if anyone came across Tabs or even just notation for Garry Tallent's exact bass line for Springsteen's Backstreets. I know that all of us make up our own bass lines (no fun in copying someone else's line) but along with Jamerson.....Tallent's lines are perfection (you can hear Jamerson's influence). I am an admirer of both artists.

    If Tabs or Notation are not available....I will just play by ear which will be time consuming. I saw some bass covers on You Tube but they really do not duplicate Garry's lines exactly.

    Anyone?

    Yeah, I'm a huge fan of Garry's playing too.
    There was an Italian (I think) guy running a fan site with quite a few pretty accurate transcriptions but I can't find it anymore, sorry.

    Edit: for the OP and @pmatz2 ... Found the site, (after searching Talkbass!) it was called Garry's Corner.
    Sadly, it's been shut down.
