I am about to buy a SWR Goliath III (4X10) and I am looking for a head. I want to have one that puts out a lot and is very versitile because I play lots of rock and jazz and will need to plug in several different guitars and even an upright.
    Any ideas?

    Expensive, but worth every penny.

1200 watts RMS as I recall, at 7 pounds. Can't beat that. :)

If 400w is enough to get you by, then I'd wholeheartedly recommend the ThunderFunk TFB420. It's a fairly loud 400w, BTW. If you need more power, I'd consider either an M-Pulse 600 or perhaps an iAMP 800. The WW Ultra is another phenomenal amp, but you do pay for it!
