Bad eBay Seller Alert! Refused to sell a bass

Hi, please move this to the appropriate forum if necessary. I wanted to alert you all to a bad eBay seller (ruderudeeric) who reneged on a bass.

A few hours after I won a Blue Dawn Sterling for $820 this morning, the seller sent me a message saying he couldn't sell it and asked me to cancel the auction. As a buyer, I can't do that anyway. He then relisted the item twice for $1000 and with a Buy It Now price of $1600. I called eBay to report him and there's nothing I can do until if and when he sends me a cancellation request and I can deny it and give him negative feedback. He obviously has no intention of selling me the bass for $820, and I don't want to be marked as a non-paying bidder.

Just letting you know so no one else winds up in the same boat if they are interested in that Sterling. Here's the most recent auction with the massive price hike. And it's a 2001, not a 2007.

An EBMM bass will be mine someday... just not today.
