Question about the BadAss II bridge : is it "body through" only ? Or can you use it "top load" ?

Actually NJ~, I think with the B/A II you can do both.
You can set it up for through-body stringin' - drill
some holes through the bass' body BEHIND the bridge
and add some ferrules top-side. `Course you'd have
to have a LOT of "real estate" behind the bridge since
the Badass takes up a lot of space on it's own.

You CAN use the relatively cheaper Gotoh 201 as top-
load or through-body too. Same thing though...drillin' extra
holes and mountin' ferrules behind the bridge. Less real
    estate required :D .

    Thank you notduane.
Well, I don't feel like drilling my new MIM. At least not with these hands and this nervous system.

LOL :D No problemo. On the plus side, if top-loadin' is O.K.,
either bridge (above) is a direct drop-in for most Fenders,
i.e., same five hole pattern. It'd also be a good time to
make sure that ground wire from the control cavity is
makin' contact with the bottom of the bridge (esp. on a Jazz).
