    Are you sure it is B A D G ???
If so.. the most important factor is the String guage..
The neck may warp due to unbalanced tension, but Im not pretty sure...
At least it is not going to bend forward.

    Wow...that E string tuned to a B must be a floppy as a tuna fish :D

Never do this. It is just wrong. Bass greats of the past will climb out of their graves and beat you senseless if you pursue such folly. You have been warned...

it's actually not that floppy... i used to tune my whole bass down on my old Squier P-bass Affinity.. I don't really care what bass greats would do... I just want to know ..WILL IT DO HARM TO MY BASS???? Thanks, Evan
  7. For 20 minutes at a time? No, it won't hurt your bass. Knock yerself out.
  8. Just get a B-string

No, don't do it!! For all this is good and right, do not do this foul thing. Your gonads will shrink and you'll never be able to have children. And, worst of all, your tone will suck.
  10. BADG with EADG strings is not recomended (recomended not to do).

BADG using BADG strings should work; E and B strings are approximatly the same tightness,

Buy a 5-string set with a tapered B string. Toss the E string.
