I have heard only great things of the Bag End S-15D. I will probably go with two of them. I will not be able to try them and have to buy them online. I´m afraid that they will sound to hifi and cold. Will they be good for indiepop-rock-country-dub with my Ashdown and old P-bass.

I play all those styles and more with my Bag End. I use mine with a Roscoe Beck Jazz Bass with flatwounds and a foam rubber bridge mute, sometimes with the tone knob rolled all the way off. It always sounds great and very loud. IMO, they truly are one of the best cabs you can buy today. Just buy one and see what you think. If you don't like it then you probably will have little difficulty reselling it. I would suggest you go to http://www.bassnw.com and ask those guys about the scooped mids. They move a lot of Bag Ends, and you might even find a used cab there.
