Bag End Nebula Cabs (NAMM 2017)

Looking forwards to more details on these, I do have a sweet spot for the Bag Ends...

It would appear that the cabs in the pic aren't the "neo" drivers according to the nomenclature.

A few things I noticed.......
I see the handles on the 15 cab have been repositioned. Also, thats the first time Ive seen the "clamps" used on the 10" drivers.
I also like the new stacking feet and "cups".

I really look forward to hearing the new neo-drivers.

Still nothing on their site. The new cabs are the same as the old, only now they have a sprayed on covering because they can't get the red carpet anymore.

 

Someone posted a price list on the bag end club thread. Iirc you can get either ceramic or neo with carpet or nebula frosting

 

Nebula Frosting.....seriously, that sounds like some kind of space cake?

 

Well that's not what Bag Ends calls it but it sounded right at the time

Has any one tried any of the new powered cabs or nebula cabs? Pictures are up as well as pricing on the pricing page. The neo versions appear to not be ported. can anyone confirm?

 

I see no real advantage on say, the S-15.

Modern. New Gen. I love my S15-D, S15X-D stack! Very manageable weight.

 

From what I understand just the cabinetry is different. No Neo driver - which I prefer. Definately have my eye on an S15LX-N...
