Bag End owners: what connectors?

I just spoke off-list with cb56, and was surprised to hear his new Bag End S15-D cabs had 1/4" jacks and banana plugs, but no Speakons.

My cab hasn't shipped yet, so I'm going to call the factory today (I only live about five miles away) and see if I can have Speakons added as a third option. I'd be willing do dump the banana plugs in favor of Speakon if I have to make a choice between the two.

All you other Bag End owners - what connectors do your cabs have, and on what model bottom?

 

Hmmmm.

Per Craig at the factory, the S15-D only has 1/4" and banana, but the S15X-D has 1/4", banana and Speakon. Wild.

They will put the S15X-D jack panel in the S15-D on special order, however - it adds about $20 to the cost.

I talked to Gabe out at BassNW, and we're getting my new cab made with the Speakon option. I think it's well worth the extra cost!

 

Per Chris at the factory, you can buy the jack panel that includes the Speakons for not a lot. He said it's an easy install, with no soldering.
