Give me some coments on this one. I will probably go with two of these since the coax version is to expensive.
Do they have enough upper midrange to cut throu on a stage?

I tried and liked the new Sunn 215 and tend to lean against deep bassy old school sounds.

Would it be better to buy one S15-D and one S12-D?

    Please help!
  3. Jock,

I recently purchased the S15-D without the coaxial.
It has plenty of upper and upper mid's without.
Call the good people of Bass Northwest (www.bassnw.com)
and get their opinion. 4/5 of the sales guys play
    2 1x15 Bag Ends and 3/4 of those don't have a coaxial
for either cabinet. I will be ordering another S15-D
    without a coaxial.

I think unless you REALLY like highs and do snazzy
soloing way up the neck of something, I would'nt
bother. You're profile mentions P-bass which would
lead me to believe this isn't you.

Thanks for your answer. Your right I´m not into snazzy soloing and much highs. You wrote exactly what I wanted to hear.
I´ll probably go with two S-15D. Who has the best price on them? Bass North West?

    Anyone else have any coments?
  5. Washington Music Center in Washington DC sells them for $365 each. They have the best prices on gear that I have ever seen.

I was thinking about getting one of these because of the great reviews they've gotten, but was wondering if Bag End makes them in a 4 ohm model. Does anyone know?
  7. the 15's are only available in 8.

other cabs are 4 though 2x10 i think
