Hey, I am trying to figure out why my DBX160A is creating a buzz in my speaker cab, and I realized im not sure what the proper type of cabling is to be using to set it up in my effects loop. Do I need to use balanced cables, TRS? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the unbalanced 1/4's are for plain mono plugs.

Most effects loops do not use balanced connections. Check the manual for the amp.
