I have a TC Triple Ccompressor, and a TC M-OneXL.
I've been trying them in the fx loop of an Ashdown EvoII 500.

The Triple C has jacks so, that seems OK. The M1 uses xlr's with balanced jacks so it sounded OK at first.

However, on last week's gig, I noticed I had to turn the amp volume way up to get the volume I usually get.

At the first break, I disconnected the M1 (I was running the bass straight into the compressor at the time) and the volume went back to normal:eek:

    Obviously something wrong.
I know balanced xlr's can be wired to unbalanced jacks, but with the Triple C working so well, I thought it would work with the stero jacks as only the tip and ground would be connecting
