    Hello All,

Just a quick question about the Bam 210. What is the knob that you can turn clockwise and counter clockwise in the middle of the back of the combo? What does it do? I can’t anything about it in the manual.

    Thanks

    Shaun

It's an L-pad to control the level of the tweeter.

Does "level" mean on or off?

    Thanks

    Level means "volume level."

  5. I should've never gotten rid of mine......not a fan of Peavey amps but the BAM had some nads!

Hello All in Bass Amp Land. I have resurrected one of my own Dead Threads... I want to add a extension cab to my Bam 210. The Bam is a 4 Ohm cab and combined with another 4 Ohm cab it will run at 2 Ohm at 500Watts. Question which cab should I go with, a 410 or 210? Which brand makes a 4ohm cab that will work well with the Bam?

    Thanks

    Shaun

  8. 210. With a 410 you'll run a big risk of over powering yr 210
    Only workable if a 8 ohm 210 & 4 ohm 410

    Ok, what are some recommendations?

    Shaun

  10. I would be looking for a 4 Ohm peavey 210.

Would the 210TVX be a good choice?

    Shaun

  12. Yep. Those TVX cabs were solid performers too.

So just got off the phone with Peavey. The person I spoke to at Peavey said that I could use the new VB 210. They said it is 8 Ohm. I told them the Bam was 4 Ohm. They told me that was ok. Does that sound right?

    Shaun

  18. It wouldnt have equal power distribution to each speaker.

Is there a particular reason you are set on something new?

I am not set on new just preferred choice. I guess I am worried that the used cab could be defective. I just worry to much.

So I guess now the question is should I look for the 210 TVX or 210 Pro?
