Need some help with a band name. I'm looking for suggestions. The band is a quartet, no drummer, playing a mix Norah Jonesy, Diana Krally, bluesy, jazzy stuff. Couple of samples at www.langfordclark.com

We need a name. The singer is a local guy Paul Langille. So the band would be Paul Langille and . . . . . . . . . . . . Maybe you can throw some ideas at me. Great singer with a reputation in the region so that's why his name would be prominent. Usually gigs as a solo but adding a band is going to be cool. The demo tracks are rough. We just ran the 'tape' while we were running down the tunes.

One band name I love is John Cleary and the Absolute Monster Gentleman. Something along those lines would be great. Or Norah Jones and The Handsome Band is another good one. Although I don't know if that name would fit the 4 aging guys that we are.

    Paul Langille and the Raiders?

Paul Langille and the Disoriented Nude Women?

Paul Langille and the Flaming Envelopes?

    Paul Langille and the Dogs?

Paul Langille and the Super Winners?

Sorry, I just wanted to type those out (most are from an old SNL skit). I'll try to give it some thought. You might want to check out several of the Band Name Generators on the internet.

  3. My favorite one of these I heard was "Asif and the Funky Bunch" but that band never actually existed so its still usable.

Thanks. I think Paul would certainly consider the rest of the band turkeys. LOL. Sounds clips have now moves to my site in the signature below. I think they are pretty good for a first rehearsal.
