Ok.. what do you think of the Band name... Arson... We play Heavy Metal from Black Sabbath to Early MetallicA and hard Rock.. Current MetallicA and Other stuff.. The occasional Soft Rock song..
i think its not that good, but odn't lisen to me, i just think the worda rson is to plain, i like sumthing like 'The Arsonists" better
i like it. it's pretty cool... my band's name is defect right now... go to the website (down in the sig)
I played with a Heavy Metal band called Arson in the early 80's. I replaced one of the guitar players for around a year, until we replaced a few more members of the band and changed the name of the band to "No Escape". That was the first band I played bass for.
My band's name is "Damien Thorn" which I really had no say in and I'm sure there are others around with the same name. Most notably our last drummer who said "well... I guess we'll have to see who gigs first." As you might be able to tell... It didn't end well, but I would personally ditch the name, but our dumb-ass non-creative guitar player is dead set on keeping it until we run into legalities with it. Iggy
Try thinking of a name that means something, but also means something else that doesn't really make sence. like "Pregnant Virgins" -(just an Xample) SCODI
The Arsonists is too punk, Arson is more metal Or perhaps Ahrsun! With an omelette on the "u" of course!
All names sound pretty silly when you think about them, but when you hear it in context, it sounds fine. For example, just think about "the Red Hot Chilly Peppers" or "The Who" or "The Beatles" or "Hooty and teh Blowfish" - Just something to think about.
I would personnaly go with that 1! It would make people think about the name for a few more seconds, and that maybe result in them remembering you!
