Bands you missed.

  1. Just plain missed. They were there, but you had no idea. Then you heard them, said "hell yeah!" and then realized they weren't around anymore.

Two biggest for me are The Bloody Hollies and The Murder City Devils. Never saw either one, love both bands. I hear The Murder City Devils are playing shows again. I may pay to go to NYC or DC to see them. Who knows.
  2. I really Wish I had the opportunity to go see Isis live. They were still together when I first heard them but broke up before comeing to my area

Didn't even realize the Bloody Hollies had broken up, they are a local band. I guess I'll add them to my list of missed bands.:|

Pandora does a great job of introducing me to bands I love that no longer exist. A group called Lords out of Louisville made ridculawesome stuff -- neck snappingly good like the Melvins coked out of their minds. Alas, their tenure began and ended before I discovered them.

Ive always been a huge Toadies fan and I am really sad that they are no longer together making music let alone touring. I did have the honor to see them live @ the double door here in Chi years back and it was probably one of the best shows Ive ever been to. It also stinks they only recorded 2 studio albums. I still love jammin those two albums in succession. Toadies rock! Im aware that the lead singer still makes music under the band the Toadies and, I believe they are called blood brothers, but those arent nearly as good as the original line-up or music. Long live the Toadies! !

Jeff Buckley. didn't find out until after he passed on. I found Sing-Sing before they stopped, but never got to see them live.

I missed Old '97's in their heyday. But I did catch the 15th anniversary tour of Too Far to Care and it sounds like they are in the studio working on a new album.

I missed the Pixies but have since taken care of that as well.

I regret missing He is Legend when they were around. I hear they are making a reunion. \m/
