Replacements are going on tour so you are in luck. No it won't be with Bob, but Slim is pretty darn good.
While I didn't get to see them, there is a Concert DVD available called Giant On The Box. I got it for X-Mas this year and it is quite possibly the most amazing musical event I've ever watched.
Aside from The Who and The Clash and a couple other odd assortments here and there, this list looks really awful to me. It is pedestrian as they come. Really disappointing.
I figured I'd hear of a few new bands here or there. jeez
Really, just Led Zepp & SRV.
The Dire Straits, as well as most that have been said here.
I'm so happy, I'm seeing Dave Gilmour in may!
The perfect list if you would add: Stone Temple Pilots!
Alice In Chains
Rammstein (will they ever tour the US again? )
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Isn't the intent of this thread - bands you wish you could've seen but can't for one reason or another. Like they broke-up. I've seen alot of the new bands that I want to see...I usually make a point of going to see the bands I'm really into.
Edit: Some more bands I'd also love to have seen:
The Misfits in the early 80's w/ Danzig
I read through everyones list, and it's pretty cool to see alot of bands that other people want to see that I HAVE seen.
I have only one band, really. The one band I have not seen was The Doors. I did see Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger once, so it was kind of like seeing them.
-Rage Against The Machine
Bad Company (with Paul Rogers)
lynyrd skynyrd (with ronnie van zant)
