For sale only: Barefaced Big Baby 2 Gen. 3 cab.

Probably the most documented BB2 on TalkBass! Superb tone. Full details here:

    Barefaced Big Baby 2 specifications

I'm downsizing and have ended with a "mini-BB2," the Barefaced Super Midget. The BB2 is a perfect one-cab solution for fairly loud gigging. I used to have two BB2s but immediately learned one was enough for most of my situations. Now I'm moving into quieter acoustic and doubling gigs; hence the downsizing.

This cab is in near new condition. Includes a custom black leather cover made by Custom Amp Covers in Chicago.

Price: $825 shipped CONUS, PayPal Only. Thanks for looking!

And now for some sonic demonstrations I recorded from this very BB2 cab!

How it sounds via several mics (process and sound files described here:
Difference in recording with DI, dynamic and condenser microphones

How it sounds with Fender American Standard Jazz Deluxe 5 (and Sadowsky preamp) in rock band mix:

How it sounds with a Taylor AB-1 acoustic bass guitar with black nylon tapewounds through the mic'd BB2 cab.

And I was just thinking earlier today about downsizing from my F210!!
I know you had an F210, how does this compare volume wise? I've had my F210 as loud as a good 410.. not live, just as a .. hey, lets see what it'll do..

The BB2 seems louder than the F210. The BB2 also sounds beefier with more girth. The BB2 is just 29lbs......

These never last long. Good price on an outstanding cabinet. Glad you are loving your SM enough to part with the BB2, I just received an SM 2 weeks ago, but am also loving how the SM sounds with the BB2. I'll keep both.
