    Hello all,

I recently acquired a Bartolini NCTC pre-amp. I do not have a mid-boost module with it. According to the diagrams, Bart recommends installing an internal 30K internal trim pot (which is included) for mid cut. The bass that I may be installing the pre in currently has a 5 knob set up. I would like to wire this so that I can control the mid cut from a regular pot. I could not find any 30K pots on my initial web searches. My question is: can I use a different value pot to use as a mid control, or should I just leave a dummy pot in and deal with the internal pot. I most likely won't be making many adjustments to the mids, I just figure if it is set for 5 pots I might as well use them all!

    Thank you for any insights!
