I pulled a 3 band bart Pre out of a MTD Grendel bass a few years back.
Here's the config. stacked treble/bass pot, vol, pan, and a three way mini toggle. The mini toggle is a mid control. It's "flat" in the middle, boost or cut in the other two positions. Not sure of the freq center, probably 500hz. The mini toggle has two capacitors each on a different leg of the mini-toggle, except maybe for the middle position. (flat) My question is, any reason I can't replace the switch with a pot instead? I assume contacting bartolini will be necessary at some point but I thought someone here might have some ideas. thanks.

This might go rather complicated. We would have to hear more about how the switch is connected. Like, which poles are the caps connected, what are the values, and what cables are connected to the switch.
