Bartolini 8 s Precision - Direct replacement

    I have quite a few basses, mostly Fender. Here's the deal: I just bought a MIM P-Bass for the fun of upgrading. After doing some research (mostly here); I have decided to order a Bartolini 8s and a Badass II. What I want to know is that if any of you have any experience with the PUP and if I can drop it in without any modification to the cavity or pickguard.:cool:

    As far as I know it's a no mod drop in ....

    While you have it apart do the shielding as well.

    I put a Bart 8S in my MIM P and it went right in with no modifications. The old pup came out and the new pup took its place like a twin - as far as size and shape, anyway. Now, tone - that's a different matter. The old pup was thin and weak. The Bart is powerful, full and warm.
