Bartolini 8SU's

    I was just wondering if anybody has used these, and if so, what the difference is between them and the 8S's. Are they a lot brighter, or just a tad? More mids/less mids? Do you like 'em?

    I have been told that the Metal guys perfer the 8S
    it's deep and punchy, and the Rock and blues guys perfer the 8SU. You
    probably want to stay clear of the 8CP it's the "classic bass" and will
    have more mids and hig mids , which some jazz players prefer. I'd say
    go for the 8SU
