I finally picked up my pick ups (sorry about that horrible pun). I bought two Bartolini M4's to install in a Brian Moore i2000 series 5-string. The original Seymour Duncans really sucked. Anyone have any experience with the M4's?

  2. I've got M55Cs in my FBB. They're awesome. I thought they were too dark-sounding at first, but through my EBS/Aguilar rig they're absolute perfection--a perfect blend of thick, rich bass and low midrange and just enough top-end sizzle.

Thats reassuring cause they were fairly expensive. I took the bass over today for installation. It'll be done this weekend! Thanks for your comment.

Oh my gawd!!! What a difference the Barts make! The M4's did the trick. If anyone is wondering whether spending the extra cash for bartolini's is worth it....well, I have proof that it is.
