I have an old Peavey Century 120 bass amp that I would like to use for a PA just for practice. I have two Sure SM 58's and the amp has two 1/4" input jacks. Will this work if I get an adaptor for the XLR mike chords? The amp will be running a couple of PA monitors.

yes but you need to get an hi to low impedance impedance switch. these are xlr to 1/4 inch adaptors that you can get at your local music shop for about $15 each. as for the use of both inputs, i'm not sure...
