Looking in the used bass amp market for a versatile amp with plenty of head room at higher volumes and lots of thump. Crisp highs and bumpin' lows are a must. Playing through them would be an Ibanez BTB 6 string with Nordstrand Big Singles.

The "#1" response contains the parameters. Thought for sure it would be above the poll. Lol

Gotta go with the Mesa. I haven't had the pleasure of trying one myself, BUT....

    1) I own a Walkabout, on which the WD800 is based. @agedhorse did some refinements to the EQ section. If anyone could make that preamp better, it's him. That EQ section is ridiculously versatile.

    2) All those positive rave reviews lately can't be wrong.

I've heard nothing but great reviews, too.
One consistent theme I've heard/seen about a dozen times is a "squishy" low B. I really want that sucker to punch!

I'm waiting for the 2500 Mk3 Plus. The 2000 doesn't have enough headroom for my taste. But it does make a great soup...

What impedance are your 410 and 210? Power distribution will come into play big time with such powerful amps.

    4 ohms impedance on each.

With 2 x 4 ohm cabinets, you are going to need an amp that can safely drive a 2 ohm load (or 2 x 4 ohm loads on separate channels), before you go down this road you should probably realize that of the 4 amps, only the WD-800 and the Eden WT-800 are capable of this... the WD-800's single amp channel can drive 2 ohms and the WT-800 can drive 2 x4 ohm cabinets in dual mono mode (one on each channel) but not in bridge mode (8 ohm minimum).

Is the Mesa D-800 able to drive the same 2 ohms that the Mesa WD-800 can?

The power will split evenly between the two cabs. Your 210 will be delivered the same amount of power as your 410. The 210 speakers will each be working twice as hard as each of the 410's speakers. This may not be a problem, depending on the 210's abilities; but your 410 may be able to bring a lot more oomph than will ever be asked of it. Is a second 410 not an option?

You could distribute power evenly with an 8 ohm 210, but this will likely be a bit quieter than your proposed rig.

The second rig would allow amps with 2.67 minimum impedance to be considered.

I think the WT800B can bridge mono a 4 ohm load.
