Bass Auto Wah??

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by bobbybass85, Feb 9, 2006.

  1. Whats up, so i'm looking to put together my own effects board and one thing i'd like to get is an auto wah pedal, but i don't like the tone the synth ones have. Any suggestions?

You could try the M-188 Bass Auto Q--it's an envelope filter version of the bass Crybaby, basically.

I'm not a huge fan of autowah (I prefer the foot control) but if I were looking for an autowha, this'd be it.

I have a mini Q tron and its a nice pedal although tricky to dial in at times. But on bass testers I heard an EBS envelope filter and I think it sounds brilliant check it out Its sounds real creamy or something.

Boss T-Wah, they don't make them anymore but it's my favorite organic sounding wah. Not the Auto Wah, but the T-Wah.

I like the MXR Bass Auto Q in a band setting.
  9. I have been checking out the Boss AW-3 myself, apparently it has touch wah, auto wah and a jack for a foot pedal for a manual wah...
