Hello everyone, I've lately been looking for new lighter cabs to replace my Mesa 2x15 Diesel. I was wondering if any bass cab companies make cabs that would double well as a PA speaker. You see, I am into electronic music and need some cabs to use with my synth, sampler, sequencer, drum machine ect.. I don't see why a bass cab with good range could not handle synth or samplers. Any thoughts on this or suggestions of cabs? I heard that the Acme B-2 works well as a high end PA cab. Also, to switch it around, are their any PA cabs that would work well as a bass cab? Thanks alot. This board has been very informative.

I've seen bass cabs used as subs in PAs before. I've never seen one run full range, but you could probably do it. I used to play cds through my 4x10. Just make sure to get a cab with a horn.
