BASS CAB WIRING QUESTION

    HI ALL
    i just finished restoring a KUSTOM K100 TUCK AND ROLL BASS AMP WITH 2 NEW WEBER 15 INCH BASS SPEAKERS 16 OHMS EA. AND 80 WATTS EA. i am going to wire them in parrallelso i get 8 ohms total impedance. my question is what gage wire should i use to do it right without smokin everything.

    I'm no cab wiring expert (by any stretch of the imagination), but both mine that I have built have had the basic "thin" speaker wire that comes with some jackplates...it works just fine and I've read/heard that anything more is just hype/overkill. I've seen the inside of many high dollar cabs and they all use the same stuff.
