does anyone have the hartke Vx410 or Vx115?

I was thinking about getting those bass cabinets , however I am not sure if they are good or not.

Also, Would I be able to run a 400 watt head through them? because The Vx410 handles 400w and the Vx115 handles 300w. would this be underpowering the speakers, an if so, does that matter.

Those cabs are baaaad. If you were looking into them because they were cheap check out Avatar Speakers www.avatarspeakers.com Most everyone whose tried them at this forum likes them, you can't go wrong for the price.

i totally agree with tha last post, i dont like any Hartke gear, it seems to break down constantly.

  4. Hmm. I doubt you'll find many people w/ a problem with their 3500's (and similar) heads. I'll bet the percentage of problems will be higher with ampeg and SWR before hartke electronics.

But the speakers can be fussy. I'll agree with that. The transporter series is often known to be uhh...sensitive.

    IMHO of course.
