I have a Swr Goliath 3 4x10 and a workingman's 4x10 for sale or trade. I'll sell each for $350 plus shipping or $600 for the pair. They are in very good condition and have only been gigged a few times. I have 3 complete stacks and obviously do not need that much gear! I would consider a trade for tube preamps or heads (Especially a read purity or a kern). Almost anything really. Let me know what you've got and we'll see. E-mail is kringle77@hotmail.com

The goliath 3 is 700watts at 8 ohms and the workingman is 400watts at 8 ohms. Though, I don't hear a difference in power handling.

The picture take up to much space and I can't seem to compress them. So, I would have to e-mail them to you.

I really love it but, I had to send it in to get fixed. The clean channel stopped working. Im sure it's a fluke think though. I sounds nice and warm for a solid state head. It's also very powerful. Since I use to use a 2400 watt poweramp, I can say that with conviction!

Hey by the way, How do you like that V-type preamp and what is the sound comparable to?

I really like the V-type, it is very plain and simple and solid thick tubey tone. Contrary to what some might think, I think it is a rather versatile pre, I would say that it is b'tween a Fender Bassman (the ol'skool 35-50 watt tube amps) and an Ampeg tube pre... Kinda like the Poor-man's DB659... :bag:

As I hear from other's it is modeled after the clean section of a Fender Showman, sans the reverb coils... Granted I have heard the same about the Alembic pre, I just don't think that they sound the same. *IM'h'O*

I actually tried a Sansamp, AMP SL-1 and this one before settling on the V-type.
