Bass Cases?

    I'm sick of gig bags, so it looks like I'm gonna take a step up to actual cases for transportation to gigs (and for storage).

    Anyone know of some good bass cases for under $100?

    You can find several for between $75 and $100, depending on the model of your bass. EXAMPLES Or, you could get a generic (one size fits most) type case for within the same range. EXAMPLE

    I have that Gator case. When i first got it i thought it was kind of cheap, but it has held up this far and seems to be a decent case.

    Only thing i have to say is the thing that holds the case open broke off like the first day i got it, doesnt phase me much but it is quite annoying at times.

    Well I just stopped at my local GC and they had a $150 Musicman case for $50 because of a crack it got in the tolex when it was shipped there. I tried to see if the Ocean 4 strings fit in it, and it hardly moved, so I snagged it. Got home just now and see if my Cort B4 fit, and it fits almost perfectly (doesn't quite match the shape of the MM basses, but still doesn't move at all).
