This. I couldn't find a chorus anywhere near the price range that came even close.

Exactly what I was going to suggest as well. Nice pedal board friendly size as well.

Does the TC Corona Chorus works good with bass?

I own a EHX Small Clone and I'm pretty pleased with it. Has a cool chorus sound from light to heavy.

Corona Chorus works wonderfully for bass. TC pedals have a ton of headroom so they even work fine with the highest of output basses...which is important to me. I can clip the input of most any pedal except for TC.

Look out for a Boss CE2b. Really nice and subtle analogue chorus effect

CEB-3s are fine and can be picked up easily and cheaply, I however prefer the sound of my CE-3 over my CEB-3. Less knobs = less choices = more chorus IMO, haha.

I like the Fulltone Choralflange and the Boss Bass Chorus and CE-5. Also the MXR stereo chorus and mirco chorus are very good.
I have a couple of high end chorus on the way but I've not tested them yet.

I think the Jampedals "Waterfall" seems rather good.

What about the IE Polytope? Besides all those crazy modulations sounds, it seems like you can acheive a really deep chorus sound with it. Anyone who have some experience with it to comment?

I recently got into the MXR Stereo Chorus after owning the Boss CEB-3, EHX Neo Clone, EHX Stereo electric mistress and Marshall RG-1. Works good on bass, analog and very tweakable (2-knob EQ + 3 knobs for chorus effect + 1 depth switch). Not the wildest chorus out there, but still a wow for little ol'me.

  15. I love the effect of my CEB-3, but it's really noisey. I'm looking for something that's as "effective", but quieter. Anyone have any comment about the S:N on some of these pedals?

I'm currently running the MXR M321 analog chorus, which is pretty sweet, the high and low cut, particularly the latter come in very handy when trying to fine tune your chorus sound...you can make it sound all watery and liquid without making it sound all badly warbly.

Would love to try the TC Corona Chorus.

I had a MXR Micro Chorus and it sounded good but there is a volume jump that got on my nerves. I now have a MXR Black Label Chorus which is exactly the same as Analog Chorus but a different paint job. I really like it. Works great on bass. I sometimes use the detune mode on a Boss PS-6 for chorus too.

I've got a Polytope and Bass Boost Chorus. I usually use the detune features rather than modulation. They both sound great, but if I was going to pick holes, the BBC is a bit dark and the Polytope is a bit harsh/metallic sounding (particularly with effects that create a lot of highs).
