    Hey Bassiests
For a music exam i'm doing a slap bass duet of "Rio Funk" it's soundin pretty kool but we are having a hard time keeping in time with each other, so any advice on that would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has and other advice on bass duets or this song please :help: .

Most people would use a metronome
  3. Yes!

Also, really pay attention to each other and listen to what they're playing. Sometimes it's easy to only listen to yourself and not listen to the ensemble in its entirety.

I agree with the Metronome idea & Listening to each other. A Drum machine would also work well if you're having a hard time with just the metromone. That way it's giving you the groove and subdivisions of the beat
