Didn't think you were. I just didn't have a token accessible drummer joke to post
Well, I ordered #50 two days ago...…………..
Hmm, well I've long coveted your 57 AVRI, although I do think you said that she was on the weightier side.
Still have it in rotation, or is it a case queen these days?
Who else really fears hoarding, probably knowing you are already hoarding? Plus, the hoarding number of basses is always changing. Maybe 7, maybe 9.
Quite the memory you have, very impressive! That beauty is one of my faves despite the heft. Birth year surrogate. Drop dead gorgeous. Tone and playability to die for. Rare these days. And that little whiff of nitro when you open the case, aaahhh! The best.
Truth be told, she has always been a case queen, she’s just too pretty to play out except on special occasions. These are the tough hoarding decisions.
Now, can we speak of the CAR Skyline Duck Dunn or the ‘67 Silvertone Dano 1443?? Been thinking of listing those two to start, but too busy/lazy to take the requisite pics!
Just ordered an Epi Embassy Pro for $80 off. 20% discount...the fiends know I'm queer for bass AND a deal.
Boy, you really rubbed it in with your first paragraph! It could almost smell the nitro-scented air wafting from the freshly- opened case.

Just picked it up during my lunch hour:
Haven't seen many (any) of these.
Now I have to wait until tonight!
You gonna break your hip you keep falling off the wagon like that...
You're talking in dozens, with those numbers, right?
Actually, my hips have been toughened up quite a bit from falling off so much I'm probably good for another 50....we shall see...…………
I ordered No. 51 on Friday by the way...…….not even a bruise...….
It was on a whim (aren't they all) and I made a low ball offer thinking they wouldn't bite and guess what? THEY BIT!
Think they call those bite marks MOJO. Get your camera ready.
Pairadice Musician's Supply Company - any experience with them?
I used to have 5, that is the early stage. I pulled myself together and sold two of them, but currently I'm waiting for another one to arrive. I think I can't handle it myself.
Actually was negotiating #52 today...I am out of control....somebody stop me!
The trouble with selling is that it’s a pain. And now FedEx is raising prices.
Guess I’ll keep ‘em.
No insulting lowball offers, no unwanted trades. Plenty of bass variety. What’s not to like?
Hi, my name is Larry and I have a question for the group, "Is it normal for amps to breed like rabbits?" I think the group has helped me keep to 10, or less, on the basses (depends on day and who's counting) but the amps have been suddenly appearing in my storage area. Most are fully grown, but there are some class D that look like they did not eat right or something. They are runts. It appears the parents are a Mesa tube amp and a GK 1001RB because one of them is a GK with a tube and class D. I don't think Uncle Ashdown is actually related as it weighs approx 50 lbs and the rest seem to have smaller builds. Determining parentage is getting weird. Some Teepee creeping maybe?
I once traded a bass for a nce Hartke amp. Then I bought another bass of the same model I traded, but with a maple fretboard.
No 52 arrived yesterday at the local FedEx store...So much easier when I know I need to sign for it ahead of time!
Picked it up during my lunch hour and still had time for lunch by golly!
2006 Dean Edge Q4B from a Steel player who bough it new.
Not a mark on it. Like opening a time capsule.
Found an old Craigslist Ad that was posted since 2012. Contacted the seller who actually forgot about it and sure enough...it was still for sale!
Sellers pix. I'll post my actual pix later.
I'm looking forwards to the family pic @B-Mac
