  1. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg O great and sovereign Ibanez gurus! Lend me thy knowledge that I might increaseth mine own!

Saw this on Craigslist today. It looks like an RD707, but I've never seen one that wasn't a solid gloss finish. Any ideas?

I've never played one, but I'd imagine it's decent, ash body, slim one piece neck, pj set up. How much are they asking for?

  4. They're asking $200.

I think that's a bit strong, I don't know how much they were new, but if I were buying I'd try to get it to $150 or less.

  6. I was just curious. I'm not a big fan of PJ basses.

Probably worth checking out if you can see it in person and play it before deciding.

I saw several of these come through my shop back in the early 90s...... a pretty decent rig that played well, for not much money. Great modern feeling neck. They never hung around very long.

His is from '94, do you remember what they sold for new? They look kinda nice, but still I would think no more than $300 or so.

I think they were $350ish new, I moved mine at around $225 or so, but that was 20+/- years ago. Ironically I felt that they were a bunch nicer than the more expensive ones (the active ones with a $10 watch battery that you could NEVER find anyplace!)
