Hey all. I just wondered if anyone knew of a bass instructor that teaches in Central Indiana. I live in Boone County, so the closer the better. I am getting lessons right now, but my teacher's first instruments are guitar and piano, and in 6 months or so I will need a new teacher, so I'm looking for someone that does bass proffessionally or someone that it is their primary instrument who is willing to teach. Thanks

Or can anyone tell me where to start searching--on the internet or by phone, or any means possible.

I teach in Louisville, and I know a bunch of great teachers down here. I'm not that familiar with Indiana as a state, but what large city are you closest to? If it's Chicago or Indy, I could put out a few feelers to some folks I know in those places.

There are teachers at every music store. There is a store in Zionsville. There is also Reno's at 79th and Michigan Road.

Since you say your in Boone County, I'll assume your in Lebanon. My teacher works out of his house at I-465 and 10th St on the West side. About 30 minutes down I-65. He is a bassist, trained at BIT. If you want to you can e-mail me your phone # and I'll have him call you.
