    Right, so when I first started looking through the forums I had no idea what even the simplest things were. "MIM" was greek to me, "pups" were pre-dogs, and "MM" was a candy, so lets compile a list of the bass jargon we use. maybe a newbie will stumble accross it and finally understand. I'll start...

    1. MIA = Made in America
    2. MIM = Made in Mexico
    3. MIJ = Made in Japan
    4. pups = pickups
    5. MM = MusicMan
    6. J = Jazz
    7. P = Precision

    alright, those are my 7, let's see how many we can get.

    SN = Set Neck
    NT = Neck Through
    BO = Bolt On
    Barts = Bartolinis
    Fafner = Fafner :)
    Mud = 15' speakers :) :)

  4. I've seen many:

    Aggie = Aguilar
    Bergie = Bergantino
    Lakie = Lakland

    And so on... reminds me of college when "caf." and "res." were so much cooler sounding in abbreviated form.

    You realize you just said fifteen FOOT speakers? You're right, those WOULD sound pretty muddy. :D
