whats a good monthly bass magazine with just stuff about basses and bass layers
also with a section of sheet music with tab as long as standard notation (i found one that had only standard notation but not both)

i meant players not layers in the first sentence
  3. what about bass player mag?
Most of the time, it has both standard and tab music. (sometimes just tab in spots and sometime just standard notation)
  4. Yep Bass Player Magazine, quite self-explanatory I guess :)
I for one love the gear reviews they do. Also, they have some handy tips on setup and such.

The transcriptions of (parts of) songs are both in standard and tab. Don't expect to get a whole song tabbed out though!

i subscribe and i love it. Just I hate it when they interview players like The Sum 41 bassist and make them sound awesome when they really arent that great.
