  2. Because Photobucket has chosen to in effect "take down" everyone's photos (unless you pay them), we have extended post edit time in the Luthier's Corner to UNLIMITED.  If you used photobucket and happen to still have your images of builds, you can go back and fix as many of your posts as far back as you wish.

Note that TalkBass will host unlimited attachments for you, all the time, for free ;)  Just hit that "Upload a File" button.  You are also free to use our Media Gallery if you want a place to create albums, organize photos, etc :)

    Hey,
This has most likely been posted before, but I was wondering if anyone could post some links to good bass making/tutorial sites. I'm looking into making a bass during the summer and need to know what I have to do and such. Or if anyone could give me tips or something would be great. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
    Darren :)

Not specifically bass-related but head over to the MIMF.

Piles of excellent information and some free plans. Good luck. :)

i've learned a lot about bass physiology over the last 4 years by building basses virtually (3D CAD).

i'd do a layout drawing to flesh out the design dimensionally.

there are a lot of little things that new builders don't think about that can make or break a design.
