anyone know any cheep ways of modifing a simple bass?.. With standard p bass pickups?.. I have already added a push-pull pot, that controls 2 diferent tone capasitors. and a treble bleed capasitor, but I need a way to make my pickups be able to feedback easier and a way to control the feedback... Thanks

  2. Erm i am not too sure, its not active is it? If it was you could change a whole myriad of things. try maybe some sites like www.firebottle.com/ampage/ i know its amps but its a forum with musicians on it who are technically minded. they may be able to help.

hmm - bass feedback..hard to get controllable unless your usuing a semi-acoustic, but you could try something like a sustainiac

or an e-bow...which sound great on bass.

I had no idea that an e-bow worked on bass strings... I always thought that they where too big to be vibrated by the beam, thanks I'll try that...;)

  5. E-bow? i have a vague idea what you're talking about. any links so i can do some reading?
