Here's the first shot of my new baby. It arrived Thursday and I spent the night Friday playing it. I defintely understand why bassists fall in love with Series II's.

    Band rehearsal Sunday, can't wait.

That look like a real beauty, bones. Enjoy.

  5. congrats- it looks really nice :D

  6. That's straight dope. I like the symmetry of the Series I, but I think the II looks nicer with the slightly longer upper horn and the more angular design. Plus the Omega cut! I bet it sounds awesome.

So what do the inlays look like and where are they located?

  7. Beautiful! Congrats.

I just got back from rehearsal and this bass is everything I've ever been looking for. I think bass G.A.S. has been cured (famous last words).

A lot of them go used. A 13000 bass used might run 5000, or something like that. Alembics have a crappy resale price, wich is good for those that want an Alembic.
