Bass on a Stand?

    I want a stand that will hold a bass in "playing position" so I can walk up to it and play it without having to strap it on.

    I've seen Keller Williams use these live - are they available commerically or do you think he just kludged something together?

    Jeff: IIRC Alex Lifeson of Rush actually patented and sells a stand that does exactly what you are looking for. I'm sure there are a few brands out there now (I have seen Steve Harris use one in the Iron Maiden Rock in Rio DVD). They are definately available, it may just be a matter of searching.

    Hey Bruce - I'm seriously considering a NS-URB. But I'm only gonna do it when I have time to include weekly upright lessons. ;)
