I was in Sam Ash on 48th Street last week and one of the guys that worked there said that he thought that there was a bass-only store "right around here", somewhere in the neighborhood. Does anybody know of a place like that?

The only place that comes to mind would be if he meant the Guitar & Bass Boutique on 9th Avenue, but that's not a bass-only store.

I know that drummers have their own place (Drummer's World on 46th St.), so why not us? Who's showing us the love in NYC?

You'll just have to move too DETROIT where all the great bass players hang out at Low Down Sound, I hang out there too sometimes! Are there enough bass players in New York to support a bass only store? Just kidding

If there's a bass only place, I've never heard of it. I too would assume he was talking about the guitar/bass boutique.
At Manhattan prices, I'm not too bothered there's not a bass only store :)
