Bass Recommendations

    Hey guys,

    I currently own a Fender Squier P-bass which I have strung as a piccolo bass. I love it, but I really need a full 24-fret neck, and I'm trying to find a guitar to replace it.

    I also own an ESP LTD B-204SMFL (which is the best guitar I've ever played--LOVE it). I'm considering just buying a fretted version of it. Anyone got any suggestions?

    They've been discontinued, but Fender used to make a Korean-made 24-fret Jazz. If memory serves correct, they're active, the stock pickups are Seymour Duncan and they come in either a flame-finish or matte black with a matched headstock. Just do a google search for "fender jazz bass 24" and you'll get results.

    I had to seriously fight off the GAS-attack when Austin Bazaar put over a dozen of the black ones up for sale at $500, brand-new. :eek:
