i dont know how the rest of you feel about tablature but seeing how as ive only been playing for about 3 years and am mostly self taught i have used them frequently to help me along. in any case, i was wondering if any of you know what happened to the basstabarchive. i had a link that was working not too long ago but in the past week or so it has stopped working and i was wondering if any of you knew what had happened to it or know of any other sites that are easy to use and extensive.

There are tabs on this very site, in fact. They're linked to the Bass Tab Archive, and I've just tried to get a few tabs and they're still working. There should be a link at the very top of the screen on all the pages here, but if not they're at:

Other sites are tabmall.com (not that great) and tabcrawler.com (fairly good). The most accurate tabs I've seen have been on this site or the basstabarchive.com site.

    Users -

I just wanted to give you an update on the status of the
BTA's move to a new server.

The site is set up and running on the new server and
the DNS changes have been made. The change should
be propogating as we speak, and you all should be able
to access the archive within the next couple of days.

Some of you may have noticed the empty directory listing
when going to http://www.basstabarchive.com/. If you see
this, you are still pointing to the old host. This empty
directory replaces the forbidden message as the host was
nice enough to enable my account to allow me to download
the archive for the move to the new server. What does
this mean to you? The archive should be the same as
the last time you saw it.

If you are still seeing the empty directory listing
after a couple of days, try emptying your web browser's
cache and accessing the archive again.

Also, make sure that your bookmarks for the archive
    point to http://www.basstabarchive.com/ and not
to dai.net. The annoying banner ad bar at the bottom
    of the site is gone!

Email sent to accounts @basstabarchive.com also seems
    to be working again.

Thanks for your patience and hope to see you at the
    archive soon!
