I am an professional bass player with a B.M. in jazz performance and a M.M. in jazz composition and arranging from William Paterson University. I have been teaching bass for more than 10 years. I have created a very organized teaching system that covers everything you need to know as a bass player. I focus on technique, sound development, sight-reading and styles. The styles I teach on bass include jazz, funk, pop, rock, latin, reggae and blues. All ages and levels are welcome.
I currently offer lessons at my studio located at 79 Montague Pl. in Montclair, NJ 07042. I also offer home instruction in the Northern New Jersey area. Students of all ages and performance levels are welcome. For more information please call me at (973)280-9612 or visit my website at http://www.juanprivera.com
