"It is thought the intense pulses of low-frequency, high-energy sound causes the lung to rupture because air and tissue respond differently to sound. "

Let's be careful out there, folks...

I'm not sure that "silent" is quite right. As my friend, Peter Parker, says, "with great power comes great responsibility". :D

    Now that you mention it:
The pulses are plural, so they cause the lung to ruputure. I don't pay my taxes for the BBC to employ illitirits!!!

  6. ... Missed them all the first time.

There were sonic weapon experimentations going on in WWII.

they wanted to resonate the chest cavity to cause the heart to stop.

Respect the awesome power of a bass frequency.

The Tokyo riot police have been using low frequency (sub-sonic) crowd control for a long time. They have these huge subs they point down at the ground, and it loosens people's bowels and makes them run. :D

Yes, but he picked it up and made it his own. One of the things I love about the concept of the Spiderman series is a hero who grapples with responsibility and choices.

Anyway, I never really got the chance to know his uncle... :D
