Hello again! Here is a video I made that is aimed more at towards my band(ish) thing that teaches other people instruments. So they are lacking a few bassists that know how to "teach" and since I'm leaving for college, they joked around telling me to make a bass video. So I decided to take that up and make one I'm just looking to see if I got my facts straight and my techniques generally down. Some comments as if this is decent enough to pass down to a newbie or if I should miss something that I should have said. Please don't berate me because I'm still a beginner in bass (and worse at making videos) Constructive criticism would be nice, but also please do tell me if this is decent or if I should add or change some parts. Thanks and here it is: [Disclaimer] This is for younger people so please forgive the childish things I do.
I dont think it is a good idea for beginners to teach beginners. If you have to ask what is right or wrong, then IMO you are not ready to impart knowledge to others. From a practical aspect, I'd leave out the sunglasses.
Well yes, I totally understand that But I'm wondering if I'm doing it fine or correctly, because this is what I have been taught from another bass teacher so I'm passing it down. I don't think I'm wrong either because there are technically many ways to play the bass, but I'm wondering if I am on the right track. The sunglasses is so I can keep myself hidden
