bass w heavy bridge PU sound?

I love my Sadowsky J,I like to turn the blend toward the bridge PU,for punch, quicker attack and it gives me a cool,modern/active tone when I use a pick real close to the bridge..I get a really articulate, modern growl that I love.
    A heavy,modern rock tone..I guess.

I have to boost the bass when I do this since it obviously doesn't give me the same thick low end as when I'm using both pu's.

I love the fat, supportive low end that both pu's give me,but the sonic "shape" of the note isn't right, not for that modern tone I like.

My question..is there a bass that would have a stronger bridge tone for me?

Thinking maybe something with a good active MM at the bridge, maybe a Stingray or Spector?
maybe the Sadowsky modern with the soapbars?
