Check this puppy out.
washburn's got such guitars, too .
Man, I need one of those. That would eliminate my having to lug this 75 lb. Eden Metro to gigs.
They should reverse the position of the pickup and speaker. The P pickup is way to close to the bridge.
It would be kind of handy for practicing at home, but not much use for anything else.
It'd be neat I guess for whenever your emo buddy picks up an acoustic in the dorm room and starts trying to get some...er...playing music.
I would get one for practice purposes.
I'd rather check out this bass:
Jaco didn't need a built-in amp!!
Sorry, had to
Has anyone eva seen bass guitarists busking............no just acoustic i say we start a revolution of bass guitar busking with that thing
I'm tellin ya- gut one of those Clarus 5 lb.-ers and drop it in. THAT'S an amp in a bass.
built in tube preamp. huh? not only do u need a 1/4 cable, but a grounded extension cord as well
good call.. only where i live (santa barbara) it's all hippie/funkers, not emo kids doing that. they all want to be Jack Johnson or crazy town..
oh and what is busking?
and knowing how fragile tubes are, pogoing would be out too...
would that bass need periodic biasing?
That pignose looks like it belongs in a Sears catalog.
i dont really see the point of built in amp, it probably isnt loud enough to play with a drummer, and to loud for an acoustic guitar, so why not just get an acoustic bass?
An acoustic bass isn't as loud as an acoustic guitar. I am pretty sure the knob on the bass would be for volume, so it wouldn't be too loud for an acoustic.
