I used to have a T-shirt that said, "It's OK, I'm with the band!", but it wore out. (As I recall, everybody used to ask me, if I wore it to the mall, "OH! What band?"). Big mistake! Thanks for posting, sorry the crowd was so light, get better Amanda, and catch you later!

    Hi!

    Thanks!

I'm sure you're right. I was Air Force. The biggest thing I ever fired was an M-16.

    Thank you for your indulgence,

  3. Another great report. Fair gigs always sound great, and have great stage and equipment, but are hit and miss with the crowd. I remember playing a gig at the Del Mar county fair opening up for the Jets in the eighties. Sounded great, but the people streamed by and didn't stay to listen. A very humbling experience.

Dude! That's a great marketing opportunity for your band!
...what do mean the band broke up 20-years ago????
Offer them the CD or the thumb drive!;)

    Hi Charles,

There are quite a few websites that will create a gif for you. Just upload a few pictures or an mp4. Giphy.com is one but I haven't decided on a favorite.

Sorry you'll be here when I'm there. We'll get together next time. :)

  8. That stage was HUGE! Weren't you missing a steel guitar player? Sorry there weren't more people, but someone heard you and it was the right person to hire you for something else, so it all works out in the end.

    Hi Pablo,

No, no pedal steel on the gig. Randy had another engagement with another band (friends of ours) but the budget for this fair was limited, hence the decreased personnel. ;)

So cool, Cliff. Another example of being professional, giving 100% no matter and solid good work (hopefully) paying off in the future. I hope this works out!
